University of Washington Medical Center— Belltown

Dr. Camitta has board certification in internal medicine and completed a National Library of Medicine post doctoral fellowship in biomedical informatics.
His current clinical practice is in internal medicine at UW Medicine Belltown, and he will have a clinical informatics role as a physician leader in the enterprisewide implementation of Epic EHR across UW Medicine ambulatory clinics.
Other clinical informatics projects include the Primary Care Visit Redesign for University of Washington Neighborhood Clinics. This is a clinical work redesign project using Lean methodology to improve usage of clinical and information technology resources for improved coordination of care and improved outcomes in chronic disease management, cancer screening, immunizations, and reduction of medication errors. The larger scope of the project is the development and implementation of a patient centered medical home.

Ms. Glatt is a practicing Family Practice Physician Assistant and a health IT consultant at Qualis Health.
For the past eight years she has been working with Community Health Centers in Seattle. She served first as the Clinical Lead and later as the Medical Informaticist at Neighborcare Health during their implementation of the NextGen Electronic Health record. She also served for four years on a steering committee for the PTSO, a technology sharing organization that provides a wide variety of support services to Washington State Community Health Centers as they implement electronic health records.

Dr. Stewart has been involved in medical computing since he opened his solo family practice in 1983. Over 20 years, the practice grew to seven providers. The practice was then sold to Swedish Hospital where he worked as the clinic Medical Director for 4+ years.
Since 2007, he has moved back to a solo micropractice located in the basement of his home, with no employees. He has used an EMR since 1997, and has been involved in the implementation of three different systems from different vendors.
