Matt Moury

Professional Background
Matt recently graduated from Idaho State University with two Bachelor of Business Administration degrees; the first, with a Healthcare Information Systems Management major and the second with a Finance major. During his time at school, Matt helped the university implement their campus wide EHR, interned at Pocatello Family Medicine, and helped the WIREC with their recruitment phase. Much of this experience directly relates to his current duties with the REC as they move forward.

Motivation
 “From the first time I heard about EHRs, I knew I wanted to be a part of the movement. I feel EHRs will change healthcare and the way it is provided to patients. My goal is to help providers and patients understand how important this movement is and how it will not only provide them with better care, but how it can save time and money in the long run.”

Personal
Matt currently lives in Seattle and grew up in Olympia and Redmond, WA. In his spare time, he enjoys boating, baseball, and watching movies. He is engaged to be married with a June 2011 ceremony planned.
